Emmanuel Belizaire Fils-Aime is the President of the Black Law Student Association at Hofstra University. He was born in the country of Haiti, but moved to America when he was three years old. He grew up in the city of North Miami Beach, Florida, and attended Florida State University in Tallahassee. He graduated in December 2016 with a degree in Hospitality Management. After he received his degree, he made the choice to support his mother. So, he spent a year working in finance at Ford Motor Credit Company. He was a rising member of their Analyst in-training program. Last year, August 2018, he left Florida to come up to New York and attend Hofstra University’s Maurice A. Deane School of Law. He spent his first-year volunteering in organizations, improving his professionalism, and getting accustomed to the law school process.
