Chidera is a third-year J.D. student at Harvard Law School and is a graduate of Hamilton College (B.A. in Government and History) and Oxford University, Balliol College (M.St in Global and Imperial History).
Before law school, Chidera worked as a paralegal at the Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee where she supported clients facing employment discrimination and advocated for better treatment of mentally ill jail inmates. She has also gained corporate experience as an SEO Law Fellow at Ropes & Gray LLP and as a 1L Diversity Fellow at Cooley LLP. At Harvard, Chidera serves as a Student Attorney at the Harvard Defenders and co-chairs the Academic Affairs Committee of the Student Government and the Alumni Affairs Committee of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA). After law school, Chidera will be an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP (Washington, D.C).
In her free time, Chidera enjoys watching 19th-century period dramas, reading African literature, and consuming an unhealthy amount of political news.
